Resolution of Panic Attacks and General Anxiety

What is a panic attack
A panic attack is a sudden and unexpected period of intense fear or discomfort. It comes out of the blue, without warning. Your heart begins to pound in your chest. You feel dizzy and sick to your stomach. It’s hard to catch your breath. You may feel like you’re dying or going crazy. You may even think you’re having a heart attack
Panic attacks are terrifying. They can happen anywhere and at any time. Panic attacks often strike when you’re away from home. You may have one while you’re in a store shopping, walking down the street, or driving in your car. Panic attacks can even happen while you’re sleeping, causing you to wake up in a state of overwhelming fear.

Resolution
In the resolution and healing of panic-attacks the number of sessions needed can vary but normally this is 3-6. Therefore I always suggest to clients that we start with a session plan for a course of four sessions as experience with many clients has taught me that this is sufficient and effective in most cases. The course of treatment is always reviewed on the fourth session.
As I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Hypnoanalyst and Psychotherapist, I am able to utilise a broad range of therapeutic tools and techniques to allow for a very thorough and individually tailored approach for each and every client.
As a rough outline (as the course has to be flexible enough to allow for individual client needs):
Session one will provide a discussion of issues and hypnotherapy, teaching self-hypnosis, relaxation and Ego/confidence boosting.
A CD and relevant materials will be issued at the completion of session one.
Session two will include analysis of cause(s) of the problem, desensitisation of any causal events found and hypnotherapy repair work and further ego/confidence boosting.
Session three & four will utilise a combination of therapies* in order to further work on cause(s) if required, to delete and replace old thought patterns, deal with the issues of habit that may still persist, and provide a mental pathway forward for the client to pursue for a happier and more positive future.
Further CDs to provide ongoing support and relaxation will be provided for the client as required during the course of treatment.
I will always be happy to answer any questions you may have after reading this information and you can call me on 020 8658 4290, or email to alancrisp@hypnoseek.com
I am deeply interested in the welfare and wellbeing of each and every client I am privileged to work with and am constantly updating my knowledge and skills in the areas of hyonotherapy, hypnoanalysis and psychotherapy.
