Clinical Hypnotherapy can be used beneficially to break undesirable behavioural patterns (habits) such as nail biting, cheek chewing, finger/thumb sucking, nervous twitch, stuttering and stammering amongst others.
Nail biting, or other habits, can be successfully treated using either suggestion therapy or analytical therapy depending upon the severity of the habit and the individual concerned. Deeper rooted habits such as a stutter or finger sucking will usually require a course of analytical therapy.
Hypnotherapy is a totally natural and non-invasive way of using our own powerful subconscious mind to focus on our natural ability to help ourselves. Hypnotherapy can therefore be used effectively to break behavioural patterns in order to help stop doing something that we no longer want to do.
Hypnotherapy is totally empowering rather than an individual being reliant on medications or external influences.
Habits are simply a behavioural pattern. If that pattern is broken then the habit is much easier to stop. Our belief system tells us that a habit such as nail biting is incredibly difficult to stop, but with hypnotherapy, you will be amazed at just how easy it can actually be. It’s like learning to turn off an auto-pilot and regain manual control until a new pattern of thinking and acting takes the place of the old unwanted pattern.
Everyone is different and in-fact unique, we all have our own individual habits and characteristics, and that's what makes us who we are. This is also why a free initial consultation is available for each and every individual so that the individual's needs and concerns can be discussed and an appropriate course of treatment embarked upon.
